You must be a little too far east or south. Georgetown, Killeen, Belton area got 10 to 13 inches. Belton declared a state of emergency.
Numerous places just west of downtown Dallas (Arlington, Bedford, etc) had flooding problems.
Went through two places of high water (maybe 10 inches)on my way to work. The water wasn't moving, so just eased through it. If it had been moving, I never would have driven through it. It wasn't a problem for my truck.
