Been using a NH850 for about a decade now. Take a horse of a tractor as in 55HP plus. I pull mine with my Super 88 Oliver and found out you do not use 1st gear or the bales are to tight and to heavy. Yep you need the manual and yep drink 3 beers then bale so you drive correctly LOL. Be sure you keep the chains well oiled and you should do just fine the old chain balers will bale almost any thing. As for backing up I never do that but I also dump all my bale close to the barn since I figure if I dump them by the barn or drive out with the loader tractor it will cost about that same either way and saves the front end loader. Of course a lot more to it then that but can't fill in all the blanks here LOL
