I have a 666 Hydro, about the same thing. If its a hydro, It Has small pedal where the clutch should be (called the "foot and inch" pedal) a lever on the left (Called the SR lever) that is forward and reverse and a high and low range lever on the right. should do about 7 mph max in low and about 18+ in high. Low is forward, high back. Important use notes: use the pedal conservitavly, if is just a dump valve and starves the hydro unit.( you can move the left lever any time, under load while in motion to ajust your ground speed, I only use mine when starting the tractor.) also keep the RPMs up under use you need to keep the hydraulic preassure up in the hydro unit for long life. change the hydro filter yearly.
