Most dealers (equipment and car) usually don"t make any profit on warranty work. So you bought the Jeep through a military purchase program. So none of the dealers you have approached made a dime on the original sale. So why would they put you ahead of any of their scheduled work???? They will at the best break even on your repair. Plus it is a holiday weekend. They did not refuse to fix it they just told you it would be next week.
Cost of warranty. 1)Labor paid at flat rate regardless of repair time. 2) Parts reimbursed at dealer cost, no freight charges allowed. 3) No fluids unless contaminated by foreign materials. 4) Loaner cars are not paid for by the Company. Provided as a customer service by the dealer.
So with that in mind. I just can"t see why they did not jump up and down to make it big in doing your warranty work.
These warranty rules are from the 2010 Chrysler Dealership hand book.
