That Banti (sp?) hen will lay her life down for them chicks. I have found over the years (as have the cats and dogs) that them little girls are fisty when it comes to their little ones. But as far as the others, they will look out for them for the most part. If you see one of them hit a baby on the head don"t worry too much (as long as it isn"t extensive). They are just straightening them out, puttin" them across their lap if ya will.
