Son had same thing happen to him on a JD B, wheel just slid off axle. Jacked it up, slid wheel back on, bolted it on a little tighter, and away he went. Landed on the drawbar framework, and no damage done, other than dent in the hood. No fenders on tractor to get bent. And this happened after we had fought to get wheels to move on axle. They were FROZEN with rust! Would have thought it would been harder on this tractor however - B just has splined axle.
