If you have a book for your A look up what they say to use and think about it. If my memory is right it was 30w and now the same oil would be a 40w oil. The oil you are using in it is for a diesel built after 2002 a lot different than a 60 year old engine was designed to run on. I have a 76 model diesel from overseas and 15w40 will run about 10 min and no oil pressure changed to a strait 40w diesel and now it holds 40 psi all day long. Oil aint oil anymore. Bandit

If impossible to place tractor under cover, be sure to cover air stack and exhaust pipe. Drain radiator and engine block. To avoid gum content collections, drain both fuel tanks and carburetor. Leave radiator and fuel caps slightly loose to protect gaskets. Block tractor up to remove weight from tires and to keep tires from contact with moist floor.
