Could be a lot of things. But you need to tell us more. Is it showing hot on the guage? Blowing off water or steam? Leaking anywhere? By chance did you overfill the radiator? They don't like to be too full and will puke out what they don't want. As others have said, are the fins clogged up with debris? It could be the thermostat not opening, could be a bad sending unit or in the guage itself. Do the easy things first. Hose out the rad, take the thermostat out and put it in a pan of water - see if it opens. You would need a book to track down the electric end. I assume it's an electric guage. Kind of generic advice here. I don't know that model of Ford. .
