I can see by the way the cylinder is not straight with the frame you have problems in the pivot or the arm itself is bent. A 1431 is a heavy machine and if it was dropped into a washout or badger hole it is very possible the arm was bent. I think your going to have to remove the lift arm to make sure the pivot pin and the arm bushing are not badly worn. If the pin and bushing are good then the arm is bent and your going to have to replace it. Those arms carry alot of weight and need to be greased every day.
