If the person passed he/she was let into heaven. If the person did not pass he/she was sent over to the devil who threw the person into the firey pit of hell. But every so often the devil would throw someone off to the side instead of into the hole, so Fred sauntered over to the devil and asked him why he he did that. The devil said "the ones I throw to the side are from Iowa. Iowa's had so much rain that Iowan's are too wet to burn so I have to throw them to the side to let them dry out a bit".
