I had a 1948 Dodge farm truck when I was farming in the 1980"s. I"d put a nice paint job on it, and drove it in parades occasionally. People didn"t believe it was still a working farm truck. And a he11 of a workhorse, I might add.
I was the fourth owner, all of us within about a 15 mile radius. When I quit farming and sold it on an auction, the first owner"s son bought it back. He lives about five miles from me, and I still see the old gal sitting around his place occasionally.
