Your last statement about settleing for a lower standrd of living is very disturbing. Since when did Americans EVER have to settle for a lower standard of living? We've raised the bar for the rest of the world. We do not need to settle for anything. We have our freedom still (so far) and we need to excercise our rights to demand a higher standard of living by voting out the idiots who try to hold down business owners, home owners, gun owners, SUV owners, and anyone else they see as not fitting their mold of a perfect socialistic country where everyone is equally miserable except those in power. I for one will not settle for a lower standard of living or anything else less than the best i can get for me or my family or my country.
