I've had short thin stand beans go close to 60 Bu and have had 4 foot tall beans go 40 Bu. Just never know. Corn is is a little easier but still a little of a guessing game. Guys around here a predicting an all time record yield. I'm not so sure. The ears are filled nicely and are long, BUT, I'm not liking what I'm finding with the kernel depth. Talked to one of my seed salesmen today and he says the agronomists have the same concern. Theory is the hot nights may have hindered kernel fill. Just never know till its in the bin.
