It started out real dry this spring here in Central NY. Lots of normally "too wet to plant" ground got worked and planted. Finally got moderate rains and we are in the middle of the best crop year in recent years. Lots of hay, 3rd cut going in barns, heavy oats and straw, record acerages of soybeans looking really good, corn crop excellent, vegi crops and residential gardens flurishing. So far no blite like last year on mators and tators. Hopefully frost will hold off until late Sept. If so We will have had a near perfect crop year. I have watched the posts from all of you around the country, and we seam to be the lucky ones this year. Hope those of you who were flooded earlier this year and within the last few days and those of you who were hit with tornados will recover with minimal losses. I know Al's Global warming warnings have been shunned, but I believe we are experiencing some very not so normal weather all around the world. Is the weather just going through a repetitive cycle as some sugest or something else.
