Pete What engine 5.3/what rear3.73? 3.42? 3.08? 3.08 too much gear for 4x4 i have 2x4 5.3 with 6000 miles great on hills.Slow responce motor may be a 4/8 drops to 4 cyl on cruise Drop factory oil at 3000 it will run better.3:08rear is 2:24in 6 gear top two gears are over direct hope this helps traper
