Our local threshing show has three hand crank 5 gallon White mountain freezers that they use during the show and at an occasional social event. They take the cranks off and run them with either a gas engine, the rear wheel of a pickup or electric motor depending on the location. JT might correct me on the age factor but I think the current ones are in the 5-7 year-old range and during the course of a summer they make at least 350 gallons maybe more. Nothing lasts forever,or course, but these freezers are about as dependable as they come. Too bad the chinese got hold of them. Jim
