Neighbor gave me a Lawn Boy about 15 years ago. Said he loaned it to the BIL who ran straight gas in it and the motor was shot. I shot a little oil in it worked the blade back and forth took a compression check. Not to bad. Mixed up some gas, took right off. Wanted to give it back, but the neighbor said no"I ain't no Indian giver". I still mow my ditch bank in front of the house with it. My BIL mixed gas for his string trimmer with Stabil thinking it was 2 stroke oil. The trimmer got hot and quit 3 times. Each time it quit he would let it cool and it would run again. Then he figured it out. Trimmer still runs today. Mark
