I would be willing to bet that the screen that covers the oil pump in the oil pan is clogged up. My unlce bought a z that had poor oil pressure, messed with the gauge, oil line, pressure gauge, all didnt help. Then he pulled the side plate off so he could get to the screen and it was caked solid with dirt, he cleaned it put back together now has more oil pressure than he knows what to do with.
