LOL, I live west of the Mississippi River---so have always gone EAST when going to Louisville.
I also consider Kansas the true mid-west as it is smack in the middle of the continental U.S.
Personally I really like the east half of the U.S. and do pay attention to the news and have vacationed most of my vacations at least east of Kansas.
Now about this stink----I don't have a clue either about what you are talking about but another post indicates it may be about sports, which I don't pay much attention to.
