Matt - for my corn patch I just let my boys shoot em with a .22 Old fella down the road would pay $5.00 each skinned out but 1 paw was to be still attached. Reason for the paw was apparently folks were slipping cats in on him.
Just starting a communitiy garden locally and the gal running it has a really good fence design. Regual upright with electric fence then from top of posts sloping away from garden at angle out to 8' will be more will be electric wire on PVC pipe.
Wires will be spaced so coons and armadillos will bump into it and next strands high enough to prevent them from crossing thru or jumping over. Side benefit is it will deter deer from jumping over as fence will extend away from garden.
