I have a little one hp belt drive air compressor I picked up some years back at a garage sale for $10. I keep it in the garage for the occasional car flat tire and blowing out the back of the refrigerator, etc.
I know many of you are against welding rusted tanks, but a while back I extensively welded up the bottom and it works fine, except my welds are not air-tight. The pump will cycle every thirty-one minutes if I leave it plugged in.
Would it work to put tire slime in the tank and drain out the excess? The machine is set to shut off at 110 lbs psi. I probably only use it once a month.
