I take a totally different approach. In this case you may not feel that you need any engine machine shop services. I generally(but not always) want a head at least checked while I have it off. The engine machine shops always seem happy to sell kits, etc. And I want them happy. Here they are competitive also. Maybeit's an old fashioned notion or presumption on my part, but I still think I get better service face to face than long distance.
