My boss told me when his kids were sassy and not minding him or his wife, he would get fed up and pull out a suitcase and tell the kid "Pack up some clothes, I am taking you to the orphanage". (Not all 3 at the same time but each one got this talk in there own sweet time). Video games? no those stay here. Cell phone? No that is mine and I am keeping it. And he acted like he totally meant it, he even had his wife pleading "No, don't do it!" and crying a little to sell it to the kid that Dad was serious and had finally reached his limit(the wife was totally in on it). Each kid finally became afraid that he was serious and pleaded 'No, I'm sorry, I will listen now"! I think he told me he had to do it to one of the kids twice.
Pretty funny story but it worked, his kids all turned out great.
