When I was a bachelor out on the west coast, I had a friend stationed at nearby MCAS El Toro. While he was deployed overseas, his wife called me several times and invited me to come over and visit. I declined each time. After my friend returned home, he found that she had "gone crazy" during his absence and kept a very busy social calendar.
