I think there is too much made of the Chinese labor rates. They have been so low that they would have to increase by a factor of 10x or even 100x to compare to ours. A lot of the profits of foriegn corporations doing business in China are retained by the Chinese government and the Chinese partners. Now that they have money, watch for the chinese to dump or buy out their foriegn partners - they will have the technology and capital to compete here. In other words, it will not get better....
