My main concern is if it has a "live PTO". The manufacturer states that it is "transmission driven with one way clutch". Does this mean that when the clutch is disengaged, the bushog cutter stops?
To me, a live shaft means that the tractor has a leaver , or switch, that operates the PTO and it continues to rotate as long as the engine is running.
If it is an L3400 standard transmission it will be a live PTO with a two stage clutch, if it is a hdro trans it will be trans driven PTO with internal over running clutch. Still works as a live PTO because you can stop the movement of the tractor with the hydro pedal and keep the PTO running. The type PTO you are thinking of is an independant PTO.
