I am not up on all of this. Son has all of the smarts on what is going on. I bought this little farm in 1985. It is a river bottom farm with sandy soil. I checked and it had never been flooded. In 1986 the brillant Corp of Engineers desided they were going to hold 20% more water in the big reservoir. Well they were wrong and they backed water up where they had no flood easement. When they opened the flood gates on the dam it was terrible. It washed out a old railroad right away. We had one of the biggest Cat bulldozer working several day spreading out the silt.
