Your statement isn't exactly correct. Production of 14T's began in 1954. Then in 1957 214 production started and 14t's continued. 24T production started in 1962,then 24WS & 224 was added in 1964.
214 & 224 balers were each higher capacity than their little brothers the 14t & 24T.
