Three short blades seem to be the worst offender of this, probably don't have as good a lift as the longer blades. I have a cub cadet that was leaving a strip on the one side. When I had the deck off, upside down I found the blade tips were not on the same level, by removing washer from on and adding it to the other all three blades lined up . Then the leveling of the entire mower starts. Can't rely on the deck as they get bent so need to determine where the tips of the blades are. And blades need to be a little lower in front than back, like 1/4 in or so, that way you don't chew your cabbage twice as they say.
