You have to realize that Sam's Club buys whatever they can get cheap. Sometimes they may be able to buy a batch of one brand of oil cheap and sometimes not.
I think they shop around and find distributors going out of business and buy their entire stock, and other similar deals. Same thing on groceries, clothes, and everything else in the store.
I haven't had anything to do with Sam's Club since they tried to pull a bait and switch on me on some tires that was so obvious I had to laugh at them.
