My dad always gave my sister a bad time when she was going to bring a guy around- one time, he said she needed to find out if he'd rather load the manure into the spreader, or spread it.
When he showed up, he was actually a little disappointed that it was just a joke- he was a farm kid from Wisconsin, out here in the Army, and was really looking forward to a little "seat time."
That was about 45 years ago, and the guy is still around- has been my BIL for about 43 of those.
