From JDGnut: I problem is probably that brakes pads on the 4020 have come a part, and are stoping the pick-up screen. They could have all ready been replaced, and the transmission, may just need to be flushed out. ( Use diesel ) If the brakes have not been replaced they must be fixed, because after all this pading is gone it will be metal to metal, and you will start finding metal shavings in the screen and filter. The brakes are in the final drives and the rear axle housings must be unbolted and removed, it is not not that difficult of a job but looks hard. E-m if you want any more help. I hope this helps. : : : : I JUST BOUGHT A 4020, PROBLEM IS THE HYDRAULICS COMPLETLY QUIT (brakes, steering, loader, & 3 point) THEN START AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND HE "FIXED" THE "TRANSMISSION OIL PUMP". WORKED FINE FOR 5 HOURS. NOW IT HAS "STOPED" AND "STARTED" AGAIN! TWICE! CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON?
: : : Check the small screen inside the main

: : I've got a 2440 with an occasional problem with the jitters, could it be caused by the same screen? How would I get to the screen to see? Me
