There is a lot misinformation in both countries about the others system. Both of my parents had extensive heath problems and our Canadian system worked extremely well for them. I don't know where all these hospitals are that have supposedly closed, I live in a town of 45000 people, we are in the middle of a major expansion to our hospital there are 2 more fairly large hospitals within 20 miles of our town and a major teaching hospital within 45 miles. At least here if you get sick you will not lose everything you own in order to get medical treatment.
