Disagree. Most trusts are a scam, to line the pockets of the charlatans who write them up. I do probates all the time, and they seldom run more than $2,000- most of the trust hacks are charging $3,500 plus, and their main selling point is to avoid probate. Last I heard, spending $3,500 to avoid paying $2,000 doesn't make much sense.
Besides, most folks are so clueless about how their trust works that they end up with assets outside the trust, and have to do probate anyhow.
