Those guys beat the odds.. I read somewhere that the odds of a farm tractor rollover producing a serious injury or fatality were in the neighborhood of 90% without a rollbar. Add a rollbar and your odds of survival go up to better than 50-50. Money and effor well spent. Fabricated my own for my MF 165 and JD400 backhoe from 2x4 tubing, 3/4' plate bases, 1/4" corner gussets. Each cost about $100.. and grade 8 bolts were 30% of that ! The little MF245 gets one soon.
