Our Cockshutt 40 tractor has a 262 gleaner engine we are having Govenor problems. When the tractor is running there is idle or wide open nothing in between. This creates a problem with throttle control. We were given advice that a cockshutt 40 govenor would bolt right up to the engine. Does any one know how this can be accomplished? We have a Cockshutt 40 3 Ball Govenor and it is not even close to the current one on the tractor.
