Some oil change places use the cheapest crap oil filters.. A few layers of paper in a metal can.. Put that in a diesel with 80 PSI oil pressure, the paper comes loose, plugs the jets that cool the bottom of the pistons.. That 2 dollar filter just cost the truck owner 8,000 + dollars.. I stick to Fleetguard or Wix filters.
