HOBO, I agree with you 100%. If I don't furnish the parts I don't fix it.That is my policy and has been for many years. You cannot run a modern garage with all the tools and equipment needed today,pay licenses ,insurance,taxes and everything else it takes to keep the doors open and not make a little something on the parts.If you could do it the labor rate would have to be so high nobody would pay it. Buy the way I don't do oil changes either,unless I overhaul the whole engine.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
