The diagram in Article Archive can be applied to any tractor. In your situation I would use the S10 alternator (30$ at scrape yard) , and following that schematic, just illiminate the circuits that you don't need on your tractor, the bonus being that you don't need the regulator any more. I think you would admit it's pretty straight forward.
Or, simply obtain a schematic for your make of tractor.
I'm not up to par on auto wiring either and after reading and having it explained to me for
years I still have problems with it.
On this board, there's another area where there are mulitple schematics of tractor wiring, simply choose the one that applies to you. Can't remember where I saw it, but I'm sure you'll find it.
If your entirey stumped, just rewire according to the schematic, I did it and it works.
