Oil leak at rear axle on H

My Farmall H has developed an oil leak on the left rear axle. The service manual shows a leather seal that can be replaced after removing the brake assembly & brake drum. Question: Are there any other possible suspects, and any other repairs that should be made while this work is done? Signed, Mechanically impaired.
