It sounds like you need a flex plate (Has the starter ring gear on it and bolts to the crankshaft like a flywheel). The part that actually drives the tranny pump is called a torque converter (it looks like a big donut). You should be able to locate one in a salvage yard that specializes in older vehicles. You may even be able to find a new part, if you keep looking. Pick up a copy of "Hemmings Motor News" for sources for old car parts. I wouldn't think you would have too much trouble finding one for that car. Good Luck and God Bless
