The Packard forum on the Antique Auto Club site (www.aaca.org) appears to get considerable use, but I think the unofficial main Packard forum is www.packardinfo.com.
I'm a Hudson guy, and rear hubs are on tapered bearings- very expensive and a bear to get out, and you don't want to do it if you don't have to. I'd sure find out before taking on the job. If you do need to remove the drums, Walt on the Hudson board on classiccar.com sells a "dogbone" puller that's just about essential for the job.
