Grew up on and worked on my grandfather's and uncle's farms until college;that's how I developed this tractor "disease." Was high school English teacher for 20 years, then Technical Writer, then supervisor of the Technical Publications Dept. for the country's largest manufacturer of air tools. Will retire this Friday and spend more time with my wife, my place and my tractors; will teach one class in Technical Writing at a local community college and hope to get back into teaching at the high school/vocational school level teaching "alternative" (non-academic) students. I want to use my educational background and private sector experience to try to help them make good life decisions and career choices. I have 50 acres of land, pasture a few quarter horses, keep the place hogged and just enjoy my old tractors. Asthma and allergies forced me out of the haying business and burning wood a few years ago.
