Put an ad in the paper and got a bunch of calls average 700 bucks for prices so figured I'd look at the closest one and either get it or spend 1k on a new one. Got a call from an old guy late yesterday evening with one that he he bought new 20 or so years ago and mowed up to 2 acres a year and stored it in the the barn. Asked what he wanted and he says "well the paint is faded and the skirt is tore in a couple places, think I need 200 bucks" (translated). Also said he used it with a 14HP tractor and will show me how it mows.Gonna pick it up on Wednesday if it's as he said (and it's only 15 miles away).
