We have had the same kind of spring here Don, dry when it should have rained and raining now , seems every day. We put our corn in May 1 , and sprayed it May 29 , Started first cut on May 28 , and do about 10 acres per day into a pit silo. We have had a few little hang ups , bearing on harvester pto shaft went, and one tire on my 966 split between the treads so the old girl got new rubber on the rear.Lost a day here a half day there silage is half done and now we are getting rain every day. Woke up this morn to the sound of rain on the roof at 4:30 am , looks like another lost day. We still hope to put in another 12 acres of corn after hay is off one field, at least there will be lots of moisture for germination . There I needed to vent a bit to , better go and milk .
