Same here 'SE MN' as far as the hay goes. Dairy farmers chopped first crop middle of May. I bale my first cutting so I wait for a little more body, bad mistake. Had good dry week but I had to get the corn sprayed. Did manage to get 50 acres baled with no rain. I still have 125 to go, still standing but blossoming. Rain foretasted the next seven days. Same pattern as last year, dry when I planted, corn sat in dust now when I want to make hay rain every day. Just can't win, hope the summer is warmer than last year. I see some oats are heading out today to. Needed to vent a bit to. Good luck with your corn and hay Don.
