Did you notice ?,they Use Farm tractors like semi trucks in Europe..And .The independant Taxis LOL.. will get you Anywhere FAST in the city of ROME . We Visited the Vatican with my Lovely Sicily born Sara ( Rosaria ) the weekend of Palm Sunday 2007 .went down in the catacombs . Wonderful experience i shal remember Always ... Rode the train thru the beautiful Italian Countryside down toward Messina ,(ITALY safe Guards their FarmLand ) Ferry Boated ,train and All across to Messina ,Sicily ..,Ended train trip at Catania .. , drove to Caltagirone , to stay with Sara's WONDERFUL Folx , And on GOOD FRIDAY went to Sara's Sisters Place at ENNA to be a part of the Major FUNERAL Procession for Jesus Christ , awesome experience .,, Sara stayed an additional 2 weeks, And I returned alone as planned ,,The ROME Airport was stacking planes in the Sky as we approached on a Beautiful Sunlit Mid morning , Flying Low over the Colloseum , Vatican,The old aqueduct snaking and disjointing in places ,and so many excellant postcard perfect views... then circling up into the lakes region before landing ... It Moved Me to tears , trying to digest entire Vacation that was soon ending ,the Loving caring ancient culture that is timeless , Leaving My precous new Wife behind with her folx to face the trip home alone , Compounded by the fear for her Flying HOME ALONE across the ocean, and the Enormity of the View of arial Rome ,Sacred , ancient ,timeless , And Yet VERY Vibrant . ( and realizing Again ,What Early on I had learned ) My Sara IS Always Right , I should had kept the camera in my pocket instead of packing it in my Luggage ..lol.. woul'dnt mind a chat with you about YOUR trip , ,.
