I heard a lady on the news the other day saying that she worked as a census taker and whatever census related somethings else a few times this year. Various jobs that were census related, all part time, all short term. With each job...she was hired, rehired. Each time she was rehired counted as a peg count as a person gainfully employed as many times as she was rehired temporarily. The first time, she came off of the unemployed tally as a new hire for whatever month, but didn't count as unemployed when the temp job expired because she would be rehired right away into another position and that new position counted as a new hire. If she was rehired 3 times, then on paper 3 people were hired, and so on.
I've got to tell you, I'm not happy with what I see coming out of Washington. I'm not impressed at all. Don't get me going though. Its Sunday, folks are coming over to the house for dinner and speak and stuff. Don't get me going this early, because I'm certain that one of them will later.
