i know it is probably a waste when others have home made solutions for it...but the Tecnu company makes great ppoison ivy related products...i use the "outdoor skin cleansor" a lot in the spring/summer on my arms - seems to be effective in removing oils and, on the 2 occasions i have broken out in the last 5 years or so, i used the "extreme medicated scrub" which does a nice job speeding the healing process and relieving itch. product is avail. at all drug stores and wally world.
