We have an 09 Camry and haven"t seen anything. Last I heard that Toyota was finally able to simulate the problem and found a short with the gas pedal because they use a throttle by wire like most all manufactures use now. This was also reported sometime ago as a possibility by a retired automotive engineer on his blog. The throttle transducer may be the culprit and is manufactured by a company in the midwest that makes them for most all companies in the US and Canada so this is purely a guess is why it got quelled. Bear in mind all these devices are spec"d by the car manufacturer. My new Harley has throttle by wire and I"m not real pleased with that since it is their new adventure.
